Sixcyl uploads so many background vehicles that it takes time before all pics are these Be patient, he stopped at "P" (Peugeot 204), I guess that the Rolls-Royce will come later -- Last edit: 2007-12-08 22:47:35 |

The English title doesn't make much sense in English. Maybe it's a literal translation. |

It is the literal translation from the French one, but even in French it does not make so much more sense. It is a kind of expression but I do not know if it comes from the movie title or not. |

Who is "He"? |

It does make sense in french. It's like you'd be speaking kiddy talk to a child, to comfort him (HE repeats EVERYBODY). |

Yes, but then it could make the same sense in English I guess? |

But the literal translation certainly doesn't make sense in English! This often happens with film titles when they are marketed to foreign countries, the "lost in translation" effect. |

Perhaps "Everything is Nice, Everthing is Beautiful" would make more sense? Or "It's all right, everything is nice and beautiful"? |

The non literal translation does make sense but it's like that if the title in french was "Tout le monde est beau, tout le monde est gentil" that makes sense too of course, but it loose the ironical sens used with kiddy talking ... I think this ironical touch cannot be introduced in english : it's untranslatable |

Okay, thanks. I didn't notice that. |
