“It isn't enough to want to do good in this world, you have to fight like hell for it.”

How's this for subtlety: the head nurse (who can somehow overrule doctor's orders) in a hospital for mentally ill is not only named Lucretia, she's also played by Joan Crawford. At least, we now know the devil that spawned nurse Ratched...

Anyway, yes, I submitted this movie purely for the ambulance. I thought listing all those backgroundmobiles was a bit of a stretch, but if this ever comes out in HD, they should look better. I didn't list this one, though:

The main character has a meltdown in a theater while, so IMDb, footage from 1955 and 1956 Indianapolis 500 is playing on the big screen:

#24 Kurtis Kraft-Offenhauser 'Hopkins Special' driven by Jim Rathman in 1956; retired with mechanical problems after 175 laps: Link to "www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com"

Fun fact about the 1956 Indianapolis 500:
Wikipedia wrote Race winner Pat Flaherty was the last driver to win the 500 wearing a t-shirt. All subsequent winners have worn flame retardant uniforms.
