Being a fan of the X Files series, I was glad to see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson back acting together. Amanda Peet was surprisingly good, I really liked her. |

Many may not like it, if they never liked the TV Series. As this 2nd X Files film follows more closely with the TV show than the first film (that’s just my opinion though) I liked it a lot, and would recommend others see it, even if they were not really into the "The X-Files". It’s a good popcorn flick if nothing else. The only person who gave a sub-standard performance in this film was Xzibit who played agent Mosley Drummy. Xzibit is a hip-hop rapper most noted for his Rap songs. He is better at singing than acting. |

Upgraded to HD. I thought the movie was an overblown TV episode, padded to no end with two ridiculous subplots that just kept the movie away from its central plot and made it plodding and boring. Suspect plot holes didn't help. Amanda Peet and Billy Connolly's characters, to say nothing of the always overlooked Callum Keith Rennie, were far more interesting than Mulder and Scully (insufferable as always), so what on earth farted in Chris Carter's general direction? |
