Following Pierre's comment here /vehicle.php?id=322132 I found a very poor video copy and a quick run through provided some screen grabs the quality may be good enough to identify some of the models...

Also seen a grey Ferguson tractor at 1:00:01, and a Standard 8 (or 10?) shortly after, plus the rear of a London double decker RT or RTL the registration of which I cannot currently identify.

MG ZB Magnette Varitone in the top thumbs, the best variant of the best British medium sized sports saloon of the 1950s.

No evidence of the Ford Custom Sedan — Model origin: US found in the movie as previously listed, but without time-stamp or role indicated.

Also no suggestion of why an American vehicle would fit the story-line therefore listing (without a picture) removed.

I was attracted to that also. It's a pity its not well seen here (also the Minx? with the white-walls at the back).

Strangely it looks like they reused one of the Wolseley 'police' cars in the same shot but only the bonnet and the roof were visible; without any police hardware.

What is the green sedan in the first three thumbs ? A Standard ?

I think you're right about the Minx, probably one of the late series III models, two tone and whitewalls but not a Gazelle maybe. The bilious green Standard has a boot lid, so possibly a Ten, and there is a 100E which is probably a Popular, and a Y-type MG in the bottom thumb.

Minx is S3a/b with thick side trim, so not 3c and not a Gazelle. Farina Wolseley looks 6/99 or 6/110 rather than a smaller one.
