![]() (supposed to be in Brazil, but I don't know where it was really filmed) -- Last edit: 2011-12-06 15:25:46 |

Caxambu is a city in Brazil, known for its mineral waters. The whole region is also famous for precious stones, but diamonds are rarely found, as far as I know. This movie seems to been taken totally out of Brazil, as car plates are white and short, cars itselves are not of any brazilian maker and by 1967 it would be very unprofitable to import cars whilst local production were cheap. |

Assuming the movie was filmed all in one country (for this bad cheap film probably), it's a place with LHD cars, tropical jungle, and Holden imports ![]() |

The Philippines, perhaps? The number plates look in the film look similar to late 1960s Philippine plates: http://plaque.free.fr/as/rp/?path=./_HISTOR/_1960s/_PASS/ The 1963 Dodge has bits of gunk covering the bottom of the plate, exactly where the city and year would be on a Philippine plate: http://plaque.free.fr/as/rp/?path=./_HISTOR/_1960s/_PASS/ -- Last edit: 2011-12-06 16:30:58 |

Sounds like a good guess. They did film several 60's/70's American B-movies there. |

Aircraft at IMPDb, though there must be more pictures of the Beechcraft Queen Air according to the synopsis. http://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=Caxambu! |
