 Some of the Scenes with the Amphicar seem to be shot in Berlin. The number plates are regular german plates and show a "B" for Berlin and one of the bridges the car crosses in those scenes could be located in Berlin Spandau.

 Obviously not, that bridge is the Severinsbrücke in Cologne. No bridge in Berlin looks like that.
