Yes it's a Prinz, lot of them is visible during the scenes in a garage which specializes in the West German cars. Are they all identical? From what years? Later I will regroup them... Edit: Thanks for the help! -- Last edit: 2016-11-27 12:09:30 |

And another NSU Prinz 1000 / Prinz 1000 L / Prinz 1000 S (1964-67) renamed to NSU 1000 / 1000 C (1967-71). |

Imported by "Czarnecki i ska" from Warsaw. (CA 17.12.07). |

Now that's interesting! Can you expand on that? Any links? |

No you must go to the "kiosk" and buy the last "Classic Auto". According to the text quite a lot of them were imported by 'Czarnecki', but what is more interesting there were probably other private importers of these cars. Today the cheapast ones cost even 500 PLN (but you have to do nearly everything to take it back on the road). If you have 4000-6000 PLN you can find one in not so bad condition. I don't know much about these cars, but now would like to have one. -- Last edit: 2007-12-10 21:23:55 |

Do you mean a distant relative of mine actually ran a NSU importer back in communist Poland? How come??? |

Well maybe it wasn't common indeed, most of foreign cars were marketed by state owned Pewex, Polmozbyt or imported in a different way, but if some people could have a small plant, probably they also could officialy sold some cars for a while. EDIT: In fact Czarnecki was a state comapny too -- Last edit: 2014-06-23 18:33:46 |
