S IV Metropolitan |

The Metropolitan was also sold as a Hudson when Nash and Hudson merged in 1954 to form the American Motors Corporation (AMC), and later as a standalone marque during the Rambler years.. So, based on the grille badge Metropolitan only Series III or IV Wiki - In September 1957, AMC announced that it was dropping the Nash and Hudson brand names. The Metropolitan was subsequently marketed under the "Metropolitan" name only, and sold through Rambler dealers. It is believed that the Nash and Hudson Grille medallions were discontinued around October 1956 (VIN E28326); they were replaced with the "M" style grille medallion. 1957 model at earliest (1957-62 range) |

Is there a side view available? If so, we can further narrow this down. (The 1959-1962 models had front door vent windows.) If we are going to call this a 1957 model, we should not be listing it as a Nash. It should simply be listed as "1957 Metropolitan". -- Last edit: 2016-12-21 04:51:48 |

What's the protocol here, do we want model or year? Not Necessarily the same thing especially with UK/European cars. |
