Impossible to get a decent view. Referred to as "mortuary van" by police inspector. Possibly C plate (85-86) or G (89-90). |

Looks a lot like a G to me. |

Ep1.11 - brief night coffin-shifting scene from police station - nothing very identifiable apart from black van and plate Registration number: E384 ELY ✗ Untaxed Tax due: 22 January 1996 MOT No details held by DVLA Vehicle make MITSUBISHI Date of first registration 01 August 1987 Year of manufacture 1987 Cylinder capacity (cc) 1597 cc Fuel type PETROL Export marker Yes ( so ex-London mortuary vans are desirable exports??) Vehicle status Not taxed Vehicle colour BLACK Seems to share at least the 384 bit of the plate with ep1.08 shots, so same van likely. |

To Africa? |

Yes, Africa is very likely. This one looks to be a removal vehicle by Wilcox, who even advertised their L 300 vans here and there (I can only provide an older generation, but you get the point). |
