Could this be locally assembled 1968 Chevrolet?

For my reference.

Yes it may have been assembled by General Motors in Switzerland even if the emblem "Montage Suisse" isn't visible in the grille. In 1968, the Chevelle Malibu was the only Chevrolet station wagons offered by General Motors Suisse with the choice of two engines: the L6 230 or the V8 307. At this time, american cars were still very popular in Switzerland. A lot of companies were offering "direct import" american cars on the market, with a wider variety of models and engines and lower prices than the one's offered by the official importers. It was not unusual that private people imported also themselves cars from the United States. Anyway, this car should be listed at least as a 1968. To my opinion, due to the visible chrome side moldings, it's a Chevelle Malibu series 135 (if it's a 6) or series 136 (if it's a V8) with body style number 35.

Probably just a slip but the 1968 Pontiac Acadian is the nova body style.
