Austin Mini-Moke ou réplique plus récente?

bref FR

86+ 12" wheels and covers. Posh seats so will keep as 89my as bref's comment above, although I'm not making a firm statement of my own about their date.

Update - This could actually be a 91+ Cagiva - it looks identical to these 2 confirmed auction examples - http://www.rmsothebys.com/mc12/monaco/lots/1993-cagiva-moke/1049693 , https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1993-mini-moke

So we now have a question to consider - do we want to create Cagiva as a new make, which would fragment our Mokes even further with yet another designation?? Or should we put them as Mini (make) Moke Cagiva (model)??

There's three already listed as Cagiva: /vehicles_make-Cagiva_model-Moke.html

Three more confirmed examples (ex-Jersey) in this auction:
Link to "www.historics.co.uk"

The one difference between the confirmed examples seems to be that they have separate rear seats rather than a bench but that might be an optional feature. This one here has a bench seat. There are actually two different designs of wheel cover but it seems one is mid-80s and the other is late-80s (Bref says 89 in his comment here) by when they were fitted to normal Minis so not diagnostic.

I've debunked my Cagivas had separate rear seats theory. It seems earlier ones could have them too. See these 1989 Moke 25th anniversary models:
Link to "s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com"
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/8f/1989_Mini_Moke_25.jpg

But it seems few 86-89 Mokes had these whilst most Cagivas did. Production by Rover Portugal ceased in July 1989 so these 25th anniversary models may well have been amongst the last produced by them.

Other details that merit investigation. Body coloured grille mentioned here: Link to "www.m-parts.co.uk" could Rover Portugal Mokes have had those? I've looked at a lot of Moke pictures today and the 86-89 ones seemed to have silver and white painted grilles whilst the 91-92 Cagivas had painted white or body coloured ones.

Any comments or rebuttal? Anyone prepared to do more investigation?

Second possible point of identification is the bumper style. There are three different bumper styles. Two continue on from 86-89 to 91-92 but this one I've only seen so far on the Cagivas.

This one has "plastic grab handles to the top rear part of the roll cage" which is identified as a Cagiva feature
