Hello andrepa: You've found a really interesting one here, but as always with Mercedes it's rather difficult to tell exactly what model it is as the interior doesn't (usually) tell what engine there is under the bonnet. But having that said, there're a few things that stand out: - The doors have only part of the window frames dressed in chrome, hence a [W 108] and not a [W 109]. - It has the small (chromed) ventilation outlet next to the doors, but still on the facia, beneath the chrome strip, on the wood. That was replaced for the 1967 MY with something Mercedes themselves called "Sommerbeluftung", which was a bigger plastic outlet that was easier to handle. Please compare early Link to "www.autoevolution.com" with late Link to "www.autoevolution.com" . Hence it's a 1966 MY. - Also pointing towards an early model is the early door mirror with a small foot, the chrome strip on the facia, and the small hup cap with a big chromed wheel embellisher. That leaves us with a 1966 (only) Mercedes-Benz 250 S, 250 SE or (very unlikely) 300 SE. All [W 108]. Interesting that it has a two colour option, very rare indeed. -- Last edit: 2016-05-27 12:41:47 |
