The orange/black car is indeed a Reynard. Probably powered by the 2000 VW engine (1997cc, turbo, DOHC) ==> 2000 Reynard VW 2KQ-LM ?

I would list it as "Reynard 2KQ-LM VW", with Reynard as make. Like what we did for the cars of the movie "Driven".

OK. But often, in motorsport, chassis and engine are put together as "common make".
F.i.: "WR Peugeot", "Lola Judd", "Courage Peugeot", "Reynard VW" etc., sometimes with the "-" separator between chassis and engine.
Up to you ;)

This generate lots of makes, since there are so few of each one on the site it is maybe not very interesting :/

No pblm. Let's keep the chassis as make. But maybe we could put "Engine + Type" in the "model" field so that the structure of the name corresponds anyway with the reality. Ex ==> Make : Courage - Model : Peugeot C52. Once again, up to you. To me everything's fine :)

Yes, this way it looks probably better.

For the movie "Driven" and its "formula's", I suggest to keep the format as it has been implemented.
This is anyway how they usually call these cars in the US ("chassis + chassis model, and then the engine type"), f.i. Reynard 2K1 Toyota.

For Proto's (Le Mans Series or equivalent), it's more "chassis + engine, and then the model", f.i. Courage Peugeot C52.

Case closed, Antoine? :)
