Rather W110 than W111? |

yes, due the smaller taillights |

It has no chrome on the fintails. Instead it has two horisontal chrome strips, one above and one below the number plate. Thus this is the 1966-68 [W 110] update, and more specific one of: - 1966-68 Mercedes-Benz 200 [W 110.010], about 70.000 made, - 1966-68 Mercedes-Benz 200 D [W 110.110], about 160.000 made or - 1966-68 Mercedes-Benz 230 [W 110.011], about 40.000 made. http://wiki.mercedes-benz-classic.com/index.php/Kategorie:W110/W111/W112 and http://www.heckflosse.nl/200230.htm . |

Would it be possible to put 200 as default and remove the "Unknown"? |

I think the bootlid badge is long enough for '200D'. |

This wasn't easy... It's actually most probably a 200 and not a 220. If a 220b it should have had different rear lights, no chrome strips and no chrome on the fintails Link to "klassiker-handel.de" . I cannot see any difference (at distance) between a 200 Link to "www.autopaedia.com" and a 200 D http://www.carways-international.de/images/ref13.jpg . |

Some admin put '220' without reading whole discussion... |

Compare with our No.1 & No.2 samples. |

Maybe these will help? |

Why not 200 as default? That is as the 200 was the entry version (as seems to be the rule on imcdb) , albeit the 200 D was the most common version. |
