Half a million Cayennes - no way !!!!!! |

After reading the article again, it seems that it's the 500.000th vehicle build in Leipzig, so that also includes the Panamera. But the majority is still Cayennes. Edit: Wikipedia says the 500.000th Cayenne was actually build in July 2013. -- Last edit: 2015-10-16 22:12:41 |

I'm staggered that there have been so many Cayennes made but confirms these figures. So there have been more of these bloated mutant pimpmobiles made than eg Hillman Imp (441,000), Hillman Hunter and other Arrows (470,000) - it's a strange world. The Avenger did 638,000, but that's probably been passed now as well. Anyone else want to post their favourites against the Cayenne's half-million?? |

The difference between them and the others you mention, we have millions of assholes on this side of the pond with more money than brains, who have to have one. Noone ever bought a Hillman as a status symbol. |

Less than 140 000 for the more-than-ever necessary Dyna Z. I won't add anything. |

Maybe a Vortic! (Until the big ends went) https://www.motorbase.com/vehicle/profile/hillman-vortic/ Looking at those figures for the Cayenne, I think I now see the reasoning behind the Bentley Bentayga. Link to "www.autocar.co.uk" -- Last edit: 2015-10-17 09:20:07 |

What a monstrosity and yet so dull. Wasn't it Ettore Bugatti himself who once said that Bentley made “the fastest lorries in the world”? His quotation seems to remain valid. -- Last edit: 2015-10-17 15:16:40 |

If you think that's a monstrosity you should have seen the original pre-production design. |

After 1995 it went downhill except a few exceptions like the Land Rover Defender. A 1989 Isuzu Trooper is rugged and has a good outdoor whimsical presence and compare that to a Ford Edge which provides nothing except awkwardness for how unattractive it is. It is sad and it only gets worse every day as they churn out more and more of these soulless "designs". |
