If a car has been customized into a stretch limo by a private coachbuilder, we add "Strectched Limousine" onto the name. Unless it's something like the Mercedes 600 Pullman which was built that way in the factory.

I agree with "G-MANN". Unless the vehicle was built/converted at the originating factory, it should be classified as a custom job, based on a "XXX" [replace XXX with the name of the company that made the base car - in this case "Cadillac"]. I have repeated this suggestion until I'm blue in the face but our contributors continue to identify these custom jobs first by the manufacturer of the base car.
In this case we have a "Custom stretched limousine, built on a Cadillac platform".

Isn't it better to keep the model name eg. "DeVille Stretched Limousine" so we know what it was based on, instead all Cadillac stretches being called Custom Stretch Limousine. There are tons of Lincoln limos listed as Town Car Stretched instead of Lincoln Custom Stretched.

Sorry, but I can't help it if it has the obvious stylings of a Cadillac... :??:

That's what I was saying too, like most of other people actually.
I do not know why MrCadillac does not want to list these grouped with the non-modified Cadillac. And what defines a modified Cadillac? When wheels are changed? Grille changed? Roof removed/modified? Length changed? etc. It is hard to say what is the limit...
