datsunZ ◊ 2007-01-11 18:08	Please put into Brand field FSO,not Polski-Fiat,all 125p after 1982 were rebadged as FSO(also circle on grille with that seems a cross was the stylization of FSO acronym--since the 1951 Warszawa--;in fact,the cross-alike represents the letters F and S put together,inserted in a circle,the letter O;the same Brand's logo,then,suggests also the shape of a steering wheel)
Weasel1984 ◊ 2007-01-11 22:39	Before 1983 the make for this cars was always 'Polski Fiat' even if they had a small POLMO label (actually a lot of polish cars had it). During the 'martial law/state of war' (1981-83) the whole country was 'paralyzed', factories were controlled by army or their workers striked, import also wasn't possible, so FSO didn't have parts to finish new cars and the quality level dramatically went down - after this Fiat canceled the licence agreement with FSO and in 1983 the car was renamed to FSO 1500, later FSO 125p (cars under make 'Polski Fiat' were still produced by FSM). -- Last edit: 2007-01-12 17:28:01
