RWF 656G and 686G have no traceable records, but 636G was mid-69 E Yorks plate and has faint record checks as an orange Gilbern, 2994cc (so probably Genie), disappeared in 1994 - an interesting red herring. |

Looks about the size of a Group 6 2-litre sports racer, but no ideas at the moment for make. 1969 looks about right for lack of spoilers, though may be earlier back to 66-ish. |

I'm thinking something UK - Chevron, Lola, Elva but no matches found. I don't think home made due to headlights - not needed for hill climbs. I thought I'd got it with Nomad-BRM Mk2 or Mk3 - http://www.stoic.co.uk/racing/history.htm , http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/img/30268/Nomad-Mk-2-BRM.html , http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/img/30276/Nomad-Mk-3-BRM.html - but some details don't match. |

Good call. Only one BT17 made, in 1966 with a 3.0 V8 Repco, Grp 7 spec. Three factory races in UK, no decent results, so sold off. |
