I'd guess in either of 2 directions (i) a Ginetta G20 or similar, or (ii) replica of mid-50s Ferrari (something like 750 Monza, 500 TRC Testarossa etc). Gut feel is Ginetta direction ... |

I don't think it's a Ginetta at all but something similar. -- Last edit: 2015-02-18 14:50:14 |

Ginetta G20 was not released until 2000, so G20 can be scrubbed here. |

Ginetta G20 has no similarity with our car. It is much more modern looking. Maybe you meant a different model. http://car-from-uk.com/ebay/carphotos/full/ebay75675.jpg |

Like G12? However I cannot find pic of one with such scoop. |

Maybe that one looks closer but I think it's probably a replica of one of the Ferrari racecars dsl mentioned, or the Maserati 4000 Monza MB Special, which is even more similar. -- Last edit: 2015-02-18 19:07:45 |

G12 was mid-engined. G4 may be closer - there were several versions and re-issues since early 60s - but I haven't found a convincing match yet. Although to me this is very Ginetta-ish, the Ginetta idea may turn out to be a false trail ... |

Following the Ferrari/Maserati replica line of thought, maybe a Kougar Monza? 34 built from 1980 onwards. A period pic here. -- Last edit: 2015-02-18 19:09:38 |
