This is possibly a Q2 Superpoise 2-Ton Luton van by the twin rears, rather than the 25cwt Q15 as listed by the AEC Southall website. Q15 confirmed - previously a flat bed truck with single rears as here... http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p882592366/h37331b7e#h37331b7e -- Last edit: 2015-02-03 19:58:10 |

Petrol should be 3181cc 6-cyl 70bhp for Q15 25-30cwt, Q2 2-ton and Q3 3-ton trucks I believe, from April 1939 onwards. edit: Over 4-tons was 4086cc 6-cylinder. -- Last edit: 2015-02-03 20:43:31 |

Rootes never used anything only once. This is the Humber Super Snipe engine, or vice-versa. -- Last edit: 2015-02-04 14:12:14 (Sunbar) |
