Actually here it wasn't a 'Zaporojetz', but 'Zaporożec', so maybe I should rename it? Same was with Volga (Wołga), Chaika (Czajka), Moskvitch (Moskwicz), Lada (Łada) and Zhiguli (Żiguli). -- Last edit: 2007-01-04 17:20:22 |

Well, these names were changed to reflect the pronunciation, I am not sure that it is a good idea to list it with these modified names, especially when they are juste small accent-like changes (like the L that becomes Ł), or another way to translitterate it (Zhiguli and Żiguli are just way to write a cyrillic word, no?) -- Last edit: 2007-01-04 18:13:50 |

Cars had russian labels (cyrillic), this 'polish' names were in papers, brochures, service books etc. , so I think that such serious changes on the site aren't necessary. Anyway thanks. |
