...at Milton Keynes Central rail station, where I work! There's a plaque on the wall stating that the station was opened in 1982, only a year or so before this was filmed. Unfortunately the station concourse is now a mass of bus lanes, taxi ranks and one-way systems but there is still disabled access to the front door although, as it's daytime in the doc, there would be a somewhat higher level of traffic there now. Sadly we don't see too many Toyota Celicas or Saab 99s around here any more. |

To be honest watching it now its embarrassing how we treated the disabled 'way back' then. Not everywhere is now wheelchair friendly now but we have come a long way , my relative is wheelcahir bound and just simple things like ramps on every kerb at crossing points have made a vast difference .
