"Wages" is a funny word and used to be considered as a singular noun. The phrase is a quotation from the Bible, Romans 6:23. -- Last edit: 2014-05-02 13:21:08 |

Even today (not just in the distant past) "Wages" remains both singular or plural in construction. Hence a person's wages can be considered a singular entity or their reward or remuneration. |

But the singular also exists in common use - Minimum Wage, Living Wage, wage packet etc |

All I can read from this plate is LLL. |

If so, LLL is London County Council, August 1950 to November 1951, and the FX3 was in production from 1948 onwards, so it fits. |

'LLL 163' or 'LLL 63' perhaps? (On the search for verifiable early FX3 taxis filmed within a year or so of their registration). |
