Looking at the front fender (/wing), I think it's a Bedford A3. |

Too rounded at the front for an A-series Bedford (there would be almost no room for the side-trim running to the side-lamp. /vehicle_172444-Bedford-A-Type-1952.html I think the front wing is more like the Fordson/Thames ET6 although I am not claiming it actually is. http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p366663644/h3f2a0236#h3f2a0236 -- Last edit: 2014-04-01 15:13:34 |

Most A3s didn't have the side-trim, and the front was quite rounded. What they did have was the (barely visible) lollipop indicator on top of the wing. The front wheel looks to me more like a Bedford than a Thames. Compare http://www.wheedle.co.nz/vehicle/BEDFORD-A3-1954-1338056 |

In your linked photograph the A3's wing is less rounded and has more surface area over the wheel. As I said whilst I'm not claiming it is one, I see the wing as being more like the Thames ET6, however what may be the bonnet protrusion or cab door does not match either the Bedford or the Thames I think, so I'm still struggling to understand what it could be. I am not even certain it has a fully 'normal control' layout its bonnet-to-wing may indicate slightly more forward control. As JCB says, not much to go on... |

I think this may be an FG , if you look at FG here wings and mirror look the same, FG would also fit size of truck - |

I did consider the FG but could not find a similar viewpoint. However although they are similar in my opinion the differences in wing shape and in its proportion with the upper cab show its not an FG. |
