I think so, too. IIRC, "Libero" was the name for the German market.

Wikipedia: "The Subaru Sumo, known as the Libero in European markets except the UK, Norway, and Sweden, and as the Domingo in the Japanese market, was a microvan produced from 1983 to 1998. In Sweden, it was known as the Columbuss (buss means bus in Swedish), and in Taiwan the latter generation was marketed as the Estratto. It was also called the Subaru E10 and Subaru E12 respectively in some places, the names referring to the size of the engines."

1983 Subaru Libero, as Tatort is a German Tv Series? For the [E10] or [E12] category, it will be hard to say, as it depends on the size engine (1.0 or 1.2L)...
(Subaru Sumo doesn't exist for now on IMCDb, only Subaru Domingo does)

In Germany this model with raised roof was available since 1984 MY, but for the first few months (till mid 1984) it was "Subaru E10 4WD", then was re-named to "Libero"/"Libero E10".

Trying to find difference between the early E10 and later Libero and seems the only one was the bumper, so in case of the Euro cars we have:
- 1984 E10 and early Libero - small bumper with small spoiler below it:

- ca 1985 Libero - small bumper, but with wider spoiler:

- 1986/87+ - Libero 1200 - new bigger bumper:

Car in movie looks for the last possibility - 1200. The code for this version was [KJ8].
