It's a fake! That is not a real E30 M3. First thing that caught my eye, was the M3 badge - not in the correct position. It should be centered on the left grille, not on the bottom. Also, the car has no fender flares - all E30 M3's did. Not to mention no stock M3 never had these turn-signals, head-lights,and blacked-out kidney grille. Also, it never had those modern mirrors. And lastly the wheels are way too wide. Since it has the newer air-dam, with integrated fogs, it's a `88-`91 E30. |

Some notes about this E30, other than its obviously modified from original specifications. The headlights are the Hella "blackline" available for that smoked look with the same light output. The mirrors are E36 M3 lookalikes, and the M badge is an addon. The wider wheels is a style known as "euro stretch" obviously made popular in european countries due to regulations stating that the tire tread must remain inside the fender. Larger wheel, smaller tire to not break that rule. The rest Adrian posted is correct. Adrian I noticed you seem to know alot about E30's!! |
