Yes, but this is NZ. I don't know if they use the model year system (I'm guessing not). In any case, the turbo was released in Australia in July 2012, meaning by this site's definition, it would be a 2013... |

We will not use a different year naming for each country. It is ok for true Australian models like Holden/Ford because they are referred as such, or if the release dates are very different (several months earlier than from US for example, like the Lexus, which was already sold in January 2012 in Japan). But if a car is release at the same time in all countries they will all get he same year, even if it is a model-year and not an actual built year, or that becomes too difficult to handle. e.g. a Peugeot would not get a year earlier in Australia than in France (since here it is not unusual to use model years too) -- Last edit: 2013-12-19 19:52:56 |

Depends on the vehicle manufacturer. Hyundai uses MYs. This VIN shows us it is a 2013 MY. |
