Ebro-Jeep later, before were Viasa-Jeep Comando(with one"m",the name of Spanish-made version),I've a 1978 circa catalogue and are named still Viasa-Jeep"built by CAF-Viasa of Zaragoza,Spain";when Motor Ibèrica Firm will merge the Viasa in early '80s,they will become Ebro-Jeep Comando(not Commando, such the US-made Jeepster Commando from which derives and retains still 1967 original US-nose;only engine isn't Jeep, but a Perkins "4.108" diesel unit of 1760cc.,built under license in Spain just by Motor Ibèrica,a Firm that at its time will be erased at end of '80s,'cause merged by Nissan and giving life later at Nissan Espana)

VIASA produced their version of the Kaiser Jeep Jeepster Commando (1967) from 1970 on under the name 'VIASA Jeepster Comando':

Available engines were the original Hurricane petrol engine and two diesel engines, one from Perkins, the other from Barreiros. In the late 1970s VIASA was absorbed by EBRO and the Jeepster was slightly modified with a different hardtop:

EBRO produced under the brand name Jeep-Ebro and later Jeep-Avia.

How much many Brands for one car!!!

PS I Knew only Perkins-powered Jeepster Comandos,'cause seems that Barreiros-powered ones weren't imported in Italy

The front is more similar to the Ebro picture than to the VIASA picture, is it sure that it is not a Ebro?
