I'd say that's a 1954 Buick. |

Nice that you found that picture but I don't think I can help much. I'm not even sure what bodytype it is. |

Could it be this car? /vehicle_448348-Buick-Super-52-1954.html But that car is from Latvia, and this film was produced by Mosfilm... There was one more 1954 Buick known in the USSR, registered in Estonia. It was seen in Lenfilm's "Myortvoy sezon" from 1968: http://eag.vanatehnika.ee/a-y/Buick_1954-d.jpg |

Edward Hopper is my favorite artist and the subject photo instantly reminded me of his 1957 painting "Western Motel" right down to the 1954 model green Buick front poking in from the left. |

@Commander 57 It's kind of odd how the door to the room has a window in it? It's nice though. A little too empty outside which is unrealistic. |

Hopper was known for his stark settings and moody use of light and shadow. |

I like stark settings like in Toys (1992), the setting is a good example of that. Still if it was me I would want to include more detail like a hotel sign outside or at least an abandoned building across the road. Light and shadow is interesting to me also like this location I found. |
