Watch the orange truck. They have to descend a hill very slowly, but they loose control and drive very hard downwards... |

they damaged the truck? |

I don't think so, it is a strong one... |

yeah these russian trucks are sturdy. ?India still uses its fleet of Zils imported from russia 30 years ago. |

Indian ZIL being repaired by roadside mechanics. |

No, that ZIL looks like a KRAZ, a Ukrainian truck with wicked large tires. |

no its ZIL 131. it was imported for Army use in the 70s. but still in service. those tyres may have been fitted for army use. |

You sure? The ZiL looks utterly differently ... that should be a KrAZ ... 255 to be exact .. unless a ZiL disguised! (oh, those russians ) |

i am not quite sure. Tell me 1 thng does these russian trucks share parts? |
◊ 2006-11-10 08:38 |
Indeed ... but usually not body panels. You may have a ZIL on GAZ running gear, but shapes are unmistakable ... imho |

THanks Coz these are unmarked truck, used by Indian Army. I just had a look at the engine bay, hence the mistake. They were imported in 60s and 70s. and still operational. They say the mix and match parts. |
