Is this fitted with Cosworth engine? |
◊ 2011-04-13 16:58 |
not a Cosworth... too old, and missing all the specific goodies. looks to have been retro-fitted with a V8 perhaps..? |

Directly behind our "hero", is an early sixties ( '71-2-3 ?)Maseratti Ghibli. These are very nice road cars, one I'm familiar with, and worked on, has a 5.0 litre, dual overhead cam V-8,with four two-throat weber carbs, beautiful chromed wire wheels, and a cream leather interior. I'm suprised nobody has identified this car in the list here. Ghiblis are classic, and classy Italian sports cars. Dig the Maseratti "trident" emblem in the grille. -- Last edit: 2012-12-04 07:27:43 |

Probably a Baldwin Motion V8 swapped car. Motion produced between 7 and 9 of these as turn-key cars, mostly with small blocks but at least one with a 454 V8. But others were done in kit form, with parts that could be ordered through them. |
