Maybe there were stockpiles of unsold 405s waiting to be shipped for America, but as Peugeot ceased operations in America in 1991 those cars were instead exported to more attainable markets? |

Given the aesthetic nature of French people (guess who I sound like now), they would probably have sold poorly in France due to the US-spec modifications, though (why have an "ugly" US-spec 405 when you can have an elegant and normal-looking 405 for the same price?). -- Last edit: 2013-01-08 04:09:47 |
