The hood paint is incorrect (original had curved corners in the front with a pinstripe around the entire diameter), the NACA hood is not indicative of any one package (could be ordered w/o Mach 1 pack), and the Mach grilles are commonly swapped onto standard Sportsroofs, coupes, and convertibles. More importantly, it's a '71-72 convertible - and there is no such thing as a Mach 1 convertible from factory. All Mach 1s came as Sportsroofs, regardless of how many fake Mach 1 convertibles are floating around. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-12-21 06:18:06 |

See above - not a Mach 1. Not now, not ever, regardless of the grille (only convertibles ever to come with this grille were the 50 1972 Sprint editions produced for the D.C. Cherry Blossom Parade, and it's unlikely that this is one of them. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2013-02-13 03:48:22 |
