..... a blue FORD CARGO 1615 according to http://www.autochecknow.co.uk/result.aspx?vrm=WBY942S . Most WBY 94xS come out the same, but there's a Transit and an Escort 35 as well. All are blue so must be a batch order. I think the plate is WBY 94xG - a genuine mid 69 sequence, but nothing listed now. |

But isn't it an electric vehicle that doesn't even have any cc? |
◊ 2012-08-06 17:57 |
Yes, it is maybe the kW power or something like that |

This has gone totally wrong by following the plate as WBY 942S and finding a DVLA record which has weird and inexplicable errors. This picture shows a Ford Cargo 1615 - http://www.truck-photos.net/picture/number8135.asp - which would often have a 6200cc diesel. The plate here is probably WBY 942G, issued mid-69 and which should lead to an unknown make milk float, all electric and 0cc; however no DVLA or other plate check record exists, presumably because it died - along with all the other WBY 94xG vehicles - before the records were computerised. WBY 942S details have nothing to do with the milk float, so should be totally disregarded. -- Last edit: 2012-08-06 18:18:15 |

Did the Ford Cargo even exist in 1977? |
◊ 2012-08-06 18:52 |
Nope, the Cargo was introduced in 1981 |

No, it was still the D-Series then. Ford Cargo 1615 seems to be a default listing for unidentified Ford vans and trucks. I've seen it quite a few times on Ford vehicles that patently weren't lorries. Also, at full screen resultion the plate on this seemed to be WBY 941S, not 942. Still a fake plate, but from a Transit. |

There is clearly something strange with the DVLA records in that batch - 943S comes up as 99,999cc petrol, 944S and 945S revert to 16cc petrol etc. Probably some mice nesting on that bit of the hard drive. Also the milk float is odd for having no brand name or advertising slogan - Gomsel Dairies, Fresh Mudflap Milk, Ingo's Strawberry Yoghurts, Antp Clotted Cream, Sandie Butter etc - even the headboard is blank. "Daily deliveries" is too generic. -- Last edit: 2012-08-06 22:03:18 |

Delicious dsl-ish delights |

no, and a 1615 would be a 16 tons Cargo heavyweight with 150HP |

maybe today it would look like this electrical vehicle of english milk float, couldn´t it be the same make? http://www.healthbanquet.com/images/english-milk-float.jpg unfortunatelly there is no further information, despite the fact it is electrical and milk delicious http://www.healthbanquet.com/raw-milk-testimonial.html#.UFeUvrLN_kd -- Last edit: 2012-09-17 23:28:26 |
