The U.S. version gets the On&Off Road package for the 2013 model year. Includes a selectable (via console knob) 6-mode terrain program, four-corner air ride suspension, under body skid-plate armor, and a two-speed dual range Magna Powertrain transfer gearbox related to the one used in the Land-Rover Discovery 4, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sport. The transfer gearbox also sports a center differential lock which is controlled by the Mercedes’ selectable terrain program. |
