Just long enough to blow up. |

Looks like 'dummy' for saving another, more costly car. |

The car was already a 10 years old clunker when this happened. |

'Dummy' of Lincoln Continental,i think |

I think it is a circa 1955 Buick pretending to be an early 60s Lincoln. |

Wheelarches should be wider. However dashboard looks right for '55 Buick. -- Last edit: 2012-07-24 20:19:37 |

Now that I look at it, it does look like a lame, poor man's replica of a 1961 or so Continental. Funny thing is, I don't remember seeing any such car anywhere else in the episode, so I don't know why they'd feel the need to replicate one. |

I keep leaning more towards a Chrysler from the early-1950's. |

A mongrel if I've ever seen one. |

Perhaps something like this, with the rear quarterpanels reshaped? /vehicle_499944-Chrysler-New-Yorker-1951.html |

Agreed, that's a mid-50s GM windshield. Certainly no 61-on Lincoln. |

Albeit customized, this car most closely resembles the 1953 Packard Caribbean Convertible. |
