CarnivalRedEscort ◊ 2013-03-28 20:41	This is a 1991 960 estate-it has the body coloured/black bumpers with chrome top plates, plus (not visible in this picture) chrome waist strips and door handles and distinctive alloy wheels. Also the bonnet is different from that fitted to 740/940 slightly covering the wipers for better aerodynamics(!). It's pretty much the same bodywork as the previous year's 760 estate, the most noticeable difference is that the chrome window frames are now black.

atom ◊ 2015-01-20 18:44	The main vehicle is a probably a 760 or 960, the hood goes all the way up to the windscreen with the mounting spots for the wiper arms partly hidden under the hood. The 740 wiper arms are mounted on a separate sheet metal between the hood and windscreen. 760/960 also by the headlights and the chrome trim under the headlights. It's pretty common to put 940 headlights on a 740 as a home made facelift put extremely rare to rebuild it with the 760/960 hood and wiper arrangement as it is a lot of work! First thumb a 740, second a 760, third a 940 and forth a 960: Ziad Hasan, your car is a 940. Just look at the tail lights! Also confirmed by the VIN: YV1944855MA049553 Y = Sweden V1 = Volvo cars 944 = Model 940 four doors 85 = B230FB engine 5 = ZF22 automatic transmission M = 1991 model year A = Uddevalla plant 049553 = individual chassis code
