Appears to be a Willys Jeep. In Myanmar, 2 companies made unlicensed copies of these Jeeps. These 2 companies are Myanmar Jeeps and Chin Dwin Star Jeeps. If hard to identify, it is indeed a Willys Jeep. |

If I may quote myself: Since this was filmed in Thailand, the Jeep is probably a veteran of numerous Vietnam War films. -- Last edit: 2016-02-29 13:07:41 |

Could certainly be one of the unlicensed copies mentioned above. It is RHD and has several non-Willys details for an otherwise rather specific military vehicle. A copy of the Willys CJ3B military version M606. There appears to be lettering on the grille but does not seem to be WILLYS. |

Apologies for not seeing that it's RHD. Since it's military model with a name other than Willys in the grille, could it be a Mitsubishi Jeep made for the Thai army? http://cj3b.info/World/Japan2.html Myanmar switched to driving on the right in 1970, so any RHD vehicles made there would have to be older than that.
