I'd imagine this is an Opel Kadett C, like this one http://www.coupe-desire.com/wallz/453, but with some special equipment. |

Buick Opel, seems to be "Sport Coupe" trim, '78-'79 http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_Opel |

This is a 1976 Buick Opel by Isuzu as the side stripes contain only "Opel" rather than "Buick/Opel" (1977 onwards). It's not a Sport Coupe version; just the 'standard' as the Sport Coupe trim wasn't available in 1976. I have one of these; a 1976 with identical stripes although it is not the exact car featured, unfortunately! I also have a full range of sales material from the various years, hence why I've thrown my opinion in there. As the German Wikipedia article states, these cars were built in Japan by Isuzu and sold in the USA through Buick dealers as the Opel-sourced vehicles had become too expensive due to unfavourable exchanged rates. |
