1962 only Belgian built AZM3 (or were they called 2CV Luxus in Germany?), made for D.
1962 by the front indicators.
Pre 1963 by old dashboard (no electrically driven wipers).
Belgian by the front indicators, the Hella taillights, the third side window combuined with suicide doors.
Made for D by the position of the license plate lights (German plates were bigger).

Hi DynaMike

you were very close ;-) "Katastrophulus" is in fact a Belgian built AZL3 (between Mai 61 and October 1962). The AZM3 was presented in Spring 1963, it is the Belgian equivalent of the AZAM (fitted with a third window like the AZL3). And you are right, the AZL3 was mostly called 2CV Luxe or Luxusausführung in Germany, but oftentimes Citroen in Germany also used the official name AZL3 in folders and ads. As far as I know in the NEtherlands it was only refered to as AZL3 or AZL - am I right? At least , I´m really happy to see those photos, because it is very rare to find photos of old German 2CV.
kind regards to the Netherlands

Must have had a black-out :) Of course it was still AZL3 in 1962.
I'm very pleased to see that I am not the only one crazy about these Belgian built 2CV's :D
