DAF555 - is there any chance you can review the 1974 and 1975 episodes and confirm if one of the Mark IVs used had a blue interior? There is a local seller claiming to have a Mark IV he leased to Quinn Martin Productions while they were filming a Cannon episode in Georgia - following is the car: http://miami.craigslist.org/mdc/cto/2748087477.html If there's any chance you can confirm this, I'd appreciate it. -Kurt

No problem; by all means, take your time. Near as I can figure it, the cars were always one year behind the season release year, so I'd expect to find that '74 car in a Season 5 episode. DAF555 ◊ 2012-01-14 11:16	I´ve scanned through all 1974 episodes and I havn´t seen it so far. I´ve also scanned a large part of the 1975 episodes, but for 1975-76 he always drives a car with the new type of vinyl roof. The car is also eqiupped with moonroof. I can definately have missed it, but my guess is that if that car with blue interior was used by QM Productions it was to re-shoot some scenes (for another episode) where they needed the car in background or similar. If Cannon went outside California in the series he took a plane and rented a car on his destination.

I just checked the '75; I see what you mean - moonroof, the later vinyl that doesn't go down the A-pillars, and the same red interior. The car was supposedly rented by QM during an on-location shoot in Georgia; doesn't seem to add up with the theme of recurring rental cars that you mention. -Kurt
