Actually with the long horizontal back-up lights between the taillights and license plate, it would be a 1984-85 Olds Delta 88 Royale Brougham LS. The 1980-83 models had small squarish back-up lights, right up against the license plate. -- Last edit: 2011-07-16 19:35:00 |

^But the 84 & 85 models have the corner light assembly divided horizontally with amber turn signals on top, and red stop lights on bottom. 80: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 81: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 82: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 83: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 84: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 85: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" |

All 84 & 85 lines except the Royale Brougham LS model. Olds introduced this as the top-line model to capture any customers who didn't like the new FWD Olds 98, so it copied some of the design cues. ^Lights are still divided. Are you sure the larger back up lights weren't available before 84? Must be some bondo bucket, which explains why a relatively recent car is parked across the street from Caprini Green, and why the front fender is a different color. -- Last edit: 2011-07-17 04:05:47 |
