Not an Audi 200? The back panel is black... |

Is it a problem to ferry over to the Channel Islands (resp.the islands with car-traffic) with the car? |

Not at all, there are car ferries. And Jersey plates are black on white and the front and black on yellow at the back, so you can't tell the difference if you can't read the plate. |

No not a problem at all. Lots of tourists go over to the island for holidays with their cars. But this car was used by a character who lived on the island. I don't know how most of the cars for this show were sourced if they got them on the island or if they borrowed them from prop companies or car firms on the mainland and put fake Jersey plates on them. I guess I'd have to watch some more episodes to see if plates were repeated or something like that. On the larger image the plate didn't seem to start with J. Also the lettering goes right to the end of the plate. If you look at most of the cars listed there is a lot of space at the ends of the plates even for those who have five numbers after the J. -- Last edit: 2011-05-19 23:30:42 |
