Interesting in this 1971 newsreel narrator says, that Dacia produces 3 types of vehicles - this one (the 1100), 500 and 1300. 500?! He was wrong or there was some prototype long before the 1980's 500? ;)

There was a Dacia 500 but not until 1988. It was a 499cc air cooled hatchback thingy which apparently had horrible build quality.
