I'd say '69--note the body-color bars across the hidden headlamp door, only on the '69, not the '70--the center part of the grille appears to be missing. Also note the side marker light and trim below the "wood" just behind the front bumper-- this trim piece was used on '69 Fords, but not the '70s, and it carried the V8 cid size--302, 351, 390, or 429 (there was a little Ford crest if it was the 240 cid six). The lf wheel cover appears to be one from a '68-'69 Mercury Montego (and Comet, which in '68-'69 was a stripped Montego). The lr wheelcover sort of resembles a basic full 1970 Ford wheelcover (not the fancier turbine style one) but also sort of looks like a '70 full size Mercury w/c-- but may be neither--

this is not a 1970, this is a 1969 LTD Country Squire Wagon , i can tell by the grill in this picture, the 1970 hase a clean grill, as a posed to the "69" had the center line through the middle of the grill, i own a 1970 LTD Country Squire Wagon

Both ctcountrysquire and macwhenderson are correct: This is a 1969 Country Squire, not a 1970 Country Squire. In addition to the issues they raised, there are two other identifying traits that distinguish the '69 CS from the '70 CS. For 1969 only, the radio antenna for all full-size Fords and Mercurys was placed on the left front fender (as shown with this model); in 1970 it reverted to the right front fender. Also, in 1969 only the deluxe luggage rack (as shown on this model) had additional extensions on the horizontal side rails that jutted out beyond the front stanchions; on 1970 models the side rails tapered down into the front stanchions.
