Mind you, the protest had nothing to do with the war - it was two years before the US even entered Vietnam. It was about the president of South Vietnam instituting anti-Buddhist laws. |

Uhhhh.....We weren't 'offically' there in combat roles at the time,but we 'were' there in advisory and training roles to the ARVN? Because one of those trainers/advisors just happened to be my own Father! (Career US Army,served 1949-83) |
