It was launched to looks like a small Mercedes, but the real sales came from taxi service and then there was no reason to keep luxury bumper. It is helpless to check the exact year of bumper simplification because the double bumper was kept in 1600 L, a two-tone, leathered seats and other refinements De Luxe model. The sedan is pre-64. The id light says so. And it shows the smaller rear window, which was used until 66 1st series. Actually only the 66 2nd series had the rear window bigger, together with windshield and wipers, which change rest position from the right to the left.
