The dark 406 has the newer EU plate, the silver one has the older version. |

Well spotted. But as plates are made by the owner of the car, I think that both could be real (though I am not sure if this "Euroband" is mandatory or not. But anyway the license plate cannot be put on another car than the one for which it is registered. That plate number is from 1998. The 406 was restyled in February 1999.
