And classic "trick" in Polish films, W. German export plate used as ordinary W. German plate (they guy suppose to be one of the foreign guests at the horse auction). -- Last edit: 2018-08-09 13:45:21 |

To show a bit more Western way of life, they drink out of cans: http://www.geting.se/viewimage/image/268743-daf_66.jpg Drinking beverages out of cans, was a symbol of capitalistic living for the COMECON-people, especially the DDR-citizens, but in West Germany it was (still is) seen as some kind of proletarian, low-class-behaviour. -- Last edit: 2010-11-02 20:40:28 |

Are You sure it is a Kapitaen and not a Diplomat: I see a vinyl roof that was unusual on the Kapitaen, was optional on the Admiral and was standard on the Diplomat. |

It doesn't have metal trim between the tail lamps. I had some doubts at the beginning and make the pic more bright, but can't see anything like that there. But finally stable preferred his own, selfmade moonshine from the "glass", instead of some "western softocre". -- Last edit: 2010-11-02 23:32:15 |

I think you're right, Electra 225. The "Kapitän" was the entry model of the "KAD"-Series, and this particular car here simply seems to be too flashy. |
