Was this specifically identified as an XR-7G in the program? Otherwise, I'm skeptical. The XR-7G had a round grille badge and I think a set of rectangular foglights. If it is an XR-7G, then it's a 1968. I'd love to have some more pictures to confirm. The XR-7G was a special trim named after Dan Gurney, who competed in the Trans Am series in a Cougar. |
